Script Consulting
I offer script consulting for film and television projects at any stage of development. My approach is analytical and inspiring, with a strong command of classical dramatic structures. Drawing on my background in European cinema and extensive experience in international screenwriting workshops—also as a mentor—I go beyond standard plot points and simplified three-act models.
I have worked as a creative writer for over 20 years, which gives me a deep understanding of what writers need and how best to support their process. Whether you are a production company seeking a long-term dramaturg for a project approaching production or stalled in development, or a screenwriter looking for thoughtful, in-depth feedback, I offer a committed and experienced perspective. I work in both Finnish and English.
Directing
At present, my work as a film director is focused on projects in development with Aamu Film Company, while I am also actively interested in directing for television. Both of my previous films—Tiikeri (2018) and The Woodcutter Story (2022)—premiered in the Cannes Film Festival’s Critics’ Week competition and have been sold to multiple international territories. The Woodcutter Story also received the Gan Foundation Award at Cannes for French distribution.
I am a versatile and highly visual director, as noted both in the Cannes Critics’ Week selection statement and in critical reviews. While I am not limited to a specific style or genre, I am particularly drawn to projects with thriller or dark comedy elements.

Screenwriting
I am available to work on film and television projects as a screenwriter. I have written two internationally recognized feature films, both of which received awards at the Cannes Film Festival. I am currently developing several projects in Finland and internationally, and I remain open to new collaborations. I work in both Finnish and English.
